Pakistan trying to mend ties with US: PM

Says Counter-Terrorism Department and Punjab Science Agency were role model departments

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asked on Friday what was the need to ruin relations with the United States and said that the government was now trying to mend the country's relations with the US now.

In an apparent reference to his predecessor PTI chief Imran Khan’s claims of being ousted via foreign conspiracy, the prime minister said that damaging ties with the US was tantamount to “aa bail mujhe maar” (inviting trouble).

The premier was addressing a passing out parade ceremony of the 48th Specialized Training Programme of the Police Service of Pakistan at the National Police Academy.

“We are trying to mend the ties now because we have to co-exist with the rest of the world. Please try to under understand… that now we go there with a ‘kashkol’ (begging bowl) and invite trouble,” he deplored.

“What kind of politics and service is this?” PM went on to ask.
He said the police played an important role in ending terrorism and the sacrifices of policemen will not go in vain.

He mentioned that the Counter-Terrorism Department and Punjab Science Agency were role model departments, which needed to be replicated in other parts of the country.

The prime minister congratulated the cadets who achieved awards in their professional field and also expressed satisfaction over the contribution of the women police force towards national development.

Please follow my suggestions 1-Cut your imports massively at a level never seen before 2-10-12 billion dollars investment from Saudi Arabia and 10 billion dollars investment from China 20-22 billion dollars 3-Your fiscal space will be fufilled by saudi and chinese investment 4-Ask assembly plants to please leave the country or start manufacturing in Pakistan 5-Understand one thing assembly is nothing while manufacturing is everything 6-Cancel all housing society lincenses and focus more and more on agriculture 7-Build your own state owned entities like Proton of Malaysia and Togg of Turkey 8-Sell your loss making state entities and create new ones 9-Ask the private businesses and businessmen to pay back the debt which they have taken or their factories will be taken over by govt as soon as possible 10-Mosques will share all the financial details be it expenditures and charities with govt and there must be direct taxes 11-If there is loadshedding then let be it and if there is inflation let be it but only real not artificial 12-Never allow anyone to use dollars in your country use rupee everywhere here there and everywhere dollar only for imports and necessary foreign visits 13-No one will be allowed to go to abroad for holidays neither politicians nor civilians except only work visas to send back remmitances 14-Subsidies will only be given if exports rise at least 10 times of the previous numbers otherwise subsidies will be taken back by imposing the subsidy in the tax form which must be paid or otherwise factory will be taken over by govt 15-No foreign factories will operate in Pakistan unless they manufacture their products in Pakistan using local Pakistani raw materials 16-Foreign social media and technology companies will be banned only Pakistanis will be given a chance to make local companies and google facebook youtube will be replaced by local Pakistani companies and will pay decent taxes and give 100s of thousands of jobs to unemployed IT graduates and skilled developers 16-China and OIC must be given the top priority when it comes to bilateral relations and all efforts will be spent in improving relations with them while second priority will be given to cooperating western countries but only those who cooperate.
