In an attempt to end the uncertainty surrounding the provincial government’s ability to pay its employees on time, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Finance Department has directed the accountant general and all district account officers to pay the salaries and pension of all public sector employees on first of each month.
In a circular, the department directed them to prepare the pay bill till the end of each month and release the salaries and pension on the first.
