RAWALPINDI:

City Traffic Police has taken action against no parking outside Benazir Bhutto Hospital and Cardiology Hospital by issuing challan tickets to 52 vehicles.

According to a report, In-charge Traffic at Murree Road Circle, Aamir Mushtaq, and the team issued challan notices to all those vehicles which had disrupted traffic and blocked the hospital entrances.

In this regard, the Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi has issued orders to the In-charge Traffic on Murree Road Circle to remain on permanent duty outside the hospitals.

Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad said that the City Traffic Police of Rawalpindi is vigilant in eliminating unlawful parking outside hospitals and combating those who block the way for emergency vehicles.

No parking outside hospitals disrupts the flow of traffic and creates problems for patients, ambulances, and other hospital staff. Organised
traffic is a reflection of any civilised society, and the City Traffic Police believes that the legal system should be consistent and equitable to achieve this goal, he added.
