FCA in power bills
A two-member SHC bench headed by Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi heard a petition and directed the petitioner to approach National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) over fuel charges adjustment (FCA) in the electricity bills of the oxygen plants.
The counsel of the petitioner said that the cost of oxygen gas is climbing due to the implementation of FCA. The National Institute of Cardio-Vascular Diseases (NIVCD) is one institution that is experiencing oxygen supply issues along with other healthcare facilities across the country.
Justice Rizvi remarked that it is a serious problem; however, you should contact Nepra about it, which has technical experts to assist you on it. "You can approach the court if you are not satisfied with the Nepra's decision."
