Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar discussed developing linkages between startup sectors of Pakistan and France, and participation of the former in next year’s Vivatech event during her meeting with Managing Director of VivaTech François Bitouzet on Friday.
The state minister also met with President France-Pakistan Business Council Thierry Pflimlin and a delegation of Campus France’s Association of Grandes Ecoles.
In her meeting with Pflimlin, who is also CEO TOTAL Global Services, trade and economic relations between Pakistan and France as well as investment opportunities in Pakistan came under discussion.
During the meeting with representatives of the Grande Écoles, the minister discussed ways to strengthen institutional linkages and exchanges between Pakistan and France in the field of higher education.
State minister delivered a talk at Sciences Po University’s Paris School of International Affairs on the topic “Pakistan and the Emerging World Order.” She also attended a Q&A session after her talk. Apart from interacting with the students, she also managed to exchange thoughts with the university’s faculty.
