Twitter comes to Sana Mir's defence after she was trolled for sharing pictures with male cricketers

Sana Mir, the former captain of Pakistan’s national women’s cricket team, posted a picture with cricketing legends and former captains Vivian Richards of West Indies, Dominick Cork of England, Darren Sammy, who will now head coach Peshawar Zalmi, and Mike Haysman from Australia.

While it should have been a moment of pride for the Pakistani cricket fans to see our athlete representing the nation and sharing the same stage as these big names in men’s cricket, unfortunately, all social media users could comment on was how she was the only woman in a pool of men.

On Thursday, Mir posted a picture with the above-mentioned players on her Twitter with the caption, “Happy times.”

Who knew the happy memory would bring her such unwarranted trolling. Luckily, some sane Twitterati came to her defence and spoke against the inappropriate comments she received. A user commented on how this is the reality of “living in a man’s world.”
