Model and actor Sadaf Kanwal welcomed her first child Syeda Zahra Sabzwari with her actor-husband Shahroz Sabzwari in August this year and the new parents have been celebrating life's biggest blessing ever since. While she was already a great wife, daughter, and model, motherhood has further humbled her into appreciating all mums around her.
Sadaf made an appearance on Nida Yasir's morning show with her aunt and veteran actor Nida Mumtaz where she spoke about how the experience with the newest addition to her family has been. Speaking about how motherhood feels to her, Sadaf, with a huge smile, said that it's been going really well for her. "It's a special feeling. I'm enjoying it. Intact, I feel like respecting all mothers even more now. I often call my mother more than once a day to check up on her and she tells me to spend time with Zahra instead," she said.
Recounting an anecdote from the time she gave birth, Sadaf shared that right after she woke up from an unconscious spell, she thought about how she saw her late father in her aunt Mumtaz's face. "Shahroz told me all of this later but when I woke up after giving birth, everyone was there and of course my phupho was there too. She was standing right in front of me and since she resembles my father a lot. I woke up and was yelling 'Papa, papa' all along while pointing at her." The story made Nida emotional, as well as the niece-aunt duo, who hugged each other for comfort.
Shahroz and Sadaf tied the knot in 2020 in an intimate celebration with close friends and family in attendance. The Nand actor was previously married to Syra Yousuf, with whom he shares a daughter Nooreh.
