Punjab Emergency Service Department (PESD) Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer formally inaugurated the 11th National Rescue Challenge (NRC) at Emergency Services Academy (Rescue 1122) on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said organising the NRC was to improve coordination and ensure uniform standards of emergency services in the country.
The challenge will also help to enhance the professional skills of emergency services personnel participating from all provinces of Pakistan.
The challenges and scenarios have been designed or prepared commonly to be faced by the emergency services in Pakistan.
He stressed that every team, participant and would learn advanced professional techniques, knowledge and practical skills from this contest.
He was addressing the opening ceremony of 11th National Rescue Challenge-2022 held at Emergency Services Academy, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore.
The Event Monitor, Dr Farhan Khalid, Evaluators from all Heads of Training Wings of ESA, Event coordinator, Muhammad Ahsan, Master of ceremony Roqiya Bano Javed, rescue instructors, and a large number of rescue cadets were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, PESD DG Dr Rizwan Naseer welcomed the teams and participants to the Emergency Services Academy.
