K-P government has been spending hefty amount of Rs1.5 billion to uplift science and technology

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister for Science, Information Technology and Food Atif Khan has said that the provincial government has been spending hefty amount of Rs1.5 billion to uplift science and technology and boost the province’s economy.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony here on Tuesday, he said that the government is investing huge funds for the promotion of science and technology. “The programme would empower scientists, researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs to seek research grants, resources, fellowships, travel grants to conferences, and other financial aid to develop their technology solutions and prototypes for greater benefit of the province,” said the minister.
