Bakhtawar Bhutto's elder son Mir Hakim is one-year-old and his parents couldn’t be happier about it! Bakhtawar penned a heartfelt note for her “biggest blessing” on Instagram.

“Happy birthday to our biggest little blessing from God. Our firstborn, Hakim, brought us the honour of calling ourselves, parents,” she captioned the post on the photo-sharing app. The adorable picture saw Hakim posing in a white kurta sitting like a boss on his cram.

She further added how watching Hakim grow has been a great source of joy for the family. “It has been the greatest joy watching you grow so much in the last 12 months - from seeing you crawl to hearing you say Mama and Dada. We love you so much and we pray you to conquer every challenge by constantly reminding yourself of your blessings no matter what hardship you are faced with.”

The parents hope Hakim grows to be a charitable person and stays humble always and they’re teaching with example. “We look forward to teaching you so much including the importance of giving back. In your name, your parents have donated aid to those who currently need it the most in Pakistan,” she wrote.

Just a few days before Hakim’s first, the family welcomed a second baby boy, Sijawal. “We look forward to watching you grow into the next role in your life - that of a big brother! May Allah protect you from every harm and evil.”

Bakhtawar and Dubai-based businessman Mahmood Choudhry were engaged on Nov 27, 2020, and married in early 2021. The couple welcomed Hakim last year on October 10, and Sijawal this year on October 5.
