Improve recovery from KMC markets: Wahab

Says special arrangements will be made for cleanliness in KMC markets

KARACHI:

Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday said that the condition of markets managed by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will be improved in order to increase the recovery of rent.

"The KMC Estate Department should prepare complete data in this regard and the staff assigned for rent recovery must be made active," he said.

Wahab said that while the corporation will enhance its rent recovery, special arrangements will be made for cleanliness in KMC markets.

Municipal Commissioner KMC Syed Afzal Zaidi, Senior Director Estate Samira Hussain and Director Estate Imran Siddiqui were also present.

KMC would continue to play its role in promoting sports activities at the local level. "Cricket is the most popular sport in Pakistan, Wahab said while talking to Quetta Gladiator's Azhar Hameed at his office.
