BALAKOT:

The District Administration of Diamer has issued a travel schedule for Babusar Top due to dangerous driving and slippage on the highway amid recent snowfall.

A week ago, Babusar Top received its first snowfall of the season which compelled all the snow-loving tourists to travel toward the mountain to get away from the heat and enjoy the beautiful views. However, this resulted in heavy traffic on the highway.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Diamer notified in a letter to the District Administration of Mansehra that travelling has become difficult due to slippage on the Babusar Top highway following the recent snowfall. As a result, a regular schedule for driving on highways has been set.

According to this, all sorts of traffic on Babusar Top highway would be permitted to travel from 6am to 6pm. However, vehicles travelling on Babusar Top Road after 6pm will be stopped at zero point and no one will be allowed to travel on the highway after the said hours.
