As Pakistan Railways resumes operations, the authorities have increased the fares of all classes of trains due to inflation.

According to the notification, the fare of AC sleeper class of Khyber Mail running between Karachi and Peshawar via Lahore has been increased to Rs11,000.

The AC business class fare has been increased to Rs8,000 and the AC standard class fare has been increased to Rs7,000. The fare of the economy class has been increased to Rs3,000.

The fare of AC business class of Karakoram Express running between Lahore and Karachi via Faisalabad has been increased to Rs7,000. The economy class fare has been increased to Rs3,000 as well.

The authorities have also increased the fare of the AC sleeper class of Karachi Express between Lahore and Karachi to Rs9,000, AC business class fare to Rs7,000, AC standard class to Rs5,000, and economy class to Rs3,000.

The fare of the AC standard class for Rehman Baba Express has been increased to Rs5,000 while the fare for the economy class has been increased to Rs3,000.

Similarly, the AC business class fare of the Pak Business Express train running between Lahore and Karachi via Sahiwal has also been increased to Rs7,000.

The AC standard class fare has been increased to Rs5,000 rupees and the economy class fare to Rs3,000.

A notification has been issued to all divisional superintendents and divisional commercial officers across the country regarding the increase in all classes of all trains from October 2.
