Sci-fi hit Cyberpunk 2077 reached the milestone of one million unique players per day after the anime set in the universe - Edgerunners - debuted on Netflix.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been through a very rough patch post-release and setbacks over time. At launch, the game was able to sell more than eight million units but fell short of an exciting response from fans and critics as they moved to other gaming options in the market.
However, the game was able to make a comeback. Due to the debut of Edgerunners, Cyberpunk 2077 was able to hit one million unique players per day. The video game company tweeted to share the achievement.
Each day of this week Night City has been visited by 1 million players, both new and returning.
