The President of FPCCI, Irfan Iqbal Shaikh has expressed concern over the continuous, fearless and open activities of land grabbers of agricultural land in Sindh.
He said that when even influential people are not spared by goons and land grabbers, what will be the condition of the common man.
He further said that this matter is related to the agricultural land of a senior member of FPCCI and he has been subjected to unbearable loss and mental torture at the hands of the land grabbers.
Irfan Sheikh also highlighted that despite the official letter from FPCCI to the Sindh chief minister, no action has been initiated on this matter yet. President FPCCI has said that due to this situation, the businessmen community has serious concerns regarding the administrative efficiency of the Sindh government, as the most genuine and legitimate concerns of the business, industrial and business community of Sindh are not addressed.
He emphasised that these illegal activities could not be possible without the blessing and facilitation of the black sheep in government and political circles. He demanded immediately and result-oriented action against the land grabbers in Thatta.
Irfan Iqbal Sheikh said that urban and rural centres of Sindh should be made investor friendly, peaceful and conducive to industrialisation.
