Woman gives birth to sextuplets in Karachi

KARACHI:

A woman gave birth to six children, including four boys and two girls though one was stillborn.

Hina Zahid, a resident of the Hazara Colony area commonly known as Kalapul in Karachi, delivered six children at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). One child was stillborn and five children are alive.

As per doctors, the children were born through normal delivery. The surviving five children are healthy and normal, they said.

The children required neonatal care, after which the children were shifted to the National Institute of Children's Health, where the children were placed in incubators.
