A new gang, called 'chadda group', has whipped up fear in the metropolitan city as its members loot people on busy roads and streets with impunity.
A video clip has gone viral on social media in which two chadda group muggers riding a motorcycle could be seen robbing people at gunpoint in broad daylight in North Nazimabad.
The video clip was shot by a citizen with his cellphone camera.
Separately, chadda group muggers were caught in CCTV footage trying to rob a citizen at gunpoint, but he manages to flee.
The impunity with which this group is looting people has created fear and panic among the people of Karachi. Karachiites have demanded of the police high-ups and authorities take immediate action against the group.
