Cybercrime Circle Karachi arrested the accused during an operation involved in extortion, harassment, and blackmail.

According to the FIA spokesperson, Cybercrime Circle Karachi has arrested the accused Muhammad Shoaib, who was allegedly involved in harassment during a successful raid. The accused was accountable for disseminating offensive videos and pictures of the complainant and using social media to blackmail them.

In addition, the accused kept threatening the complainant and received the money on that behalf. Police recovered digital devices from his possession.

Cybercrime Circle Karachi has registered a case against the accused Muhammad Shoaib under PICA Act, and further investigation is underway.

According to a preliminary investigation, the accused's mobile gallery contained obscene videos and photographs of the complainant. The accused's WhatsApp number also revealed threatening messages related to the videos and pictures.
