Xbox confirms Game Pass 'Friends and Family Plan'
Microsoft has revealed its much-awaited Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family Plan, a few days after the logo leaked and confirmed the subscription tier. The plan will also allow subscribers to share their tier with up to five friends or family members.
The plan will provide members access to the usual benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, such as cloud streaming and a rotating selection of games.
Pricing of the subscription tier has yet to be revealed to the public but is expected to be $10 more than the current Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan, which costs $14.99.
Each member will have an individual account and be able to save games, track achievements, and get personalized recommendations. Users will be able to play games at the same time and access high-quality console and PC games. The plan includes an EA Play membership, along with exclusive discounts and deals.
Users will also be allowed to share the cost of the plan equally as well, while Xbox provides detailed FAQs to entail how the service plan would work.
The Friends & Family plan is not yet available in the US, UK, or Europe but is expected to be released soon.
