The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Karachi Police arrested a gang of five involved in robbing citizens outside the ATMs and recovered pistols and motorcycles from their possession.

According to SSP SIU Arif Aziz on Wednesday, arrested identified as Sikandar Ali, Rashid Ali, Qurban Ali, Ghulam Murtaza and Parvez were involved in robbing citizens outside ATMs and banks. During the initial interrogation, they confessed to looting several people from outside banks and ATMs. They snatched Rs300,000 from a citizen outside a bank last week.

The accused robbers had also been arrested in the past.
