Gmail web search to display Spaces from Workspace

Google is introducing access to Spaces by adding it to Gmail search results, but available for paid customers only

Google has made Spaces discoverable in Gmail web search, displaying already joined domains and even discoverable spaces, or the ones with restricted access, or the domains users have been invited to.

The feature will also let users join from search results or can request a preview first.

According to the Google Workspace blog, the new feature will be made available in the upcoming weeks for paid customers, though it is unclear how it will be implemented for unpaid accounts and whether there will be a public directory of Spaces that borders on Facebook Groups.

"As the number of spaces within your organization continues to grow, we’re offering a better way for you to discover and find the exact space you’re looking for, while also providing a path to join spaces for specific teams, projects, shared interests, and more," the blog reads.

The feature will be available to Google Workspace customers and legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers. It won't be available for personal Gmail accounts.
