LAHORE:

A lawyer has sent a second legal notice to PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar over calling his client Farah Khan with a derogatory name.

Through the notice, senior lawyer Azhar Siddique warned that a damages suit of Rs5 billion would be filed against Tarar if he would not publicly tender unconditional apology within seven days.

“We have received your response on legal notices whereby your legal counsel refuted all contentions made in our legal notices without corroborating any of the defences taken by him with concrete evidence. In fact, your counsel has admitted to the defamation of our client” Farrah Khan by using a derogatory name for her, he contended.

Responding to the earlier notice, the counsel for Tarar claimed that the woman was famously known as his client had named her.
