Wife Zunaira Inam shares why Usman Mukhtar 'hates' social media

She said she’ll tell him that people miss him online and that he should post more often

Actor Usman Mukhtar, who was last seen in Sinf-e-Aahan, has been long missing from social media. No lifestyle updates, post-marriage glimpses, random selfies, food pictures, BTS shots or even memes – the actor comes online once in a blue moon with a birthday post or a random thought and if we’re lucky, we spot him in his namesake and friend, actor Osman Khalid Butt’s pictures.

Missing the Parchi actor a little too much, a concerned fan took the opportunity to ask about his disappearance when wife Zunaira Inam opened her Instagram for a little Q & A session.

On Friday, when Inam, who goes by The Millennial Rants on the photo sharing app, opened up the space to have a one-on-one session with her followers, she got a lot of questions on how she is liking her life post-marriage and of course, about her celebrity husband. “Where’s your husband? Usman has completely disappeared from social media” read a question that had a sad-face emoji in it.

Posting a picture of Mukhtar and her from a hiking trip, Zunaira wrote, “He’s here. He’s okay. He just hates social media, is really private, and honestly judges me a lot for my usage time.” Giving hope to Mukhtar’s followers, she concluded, “I’ll tell him people miss him so he should drop by more often.”

The couple tied the knot in early 2021 in an intimate, socially-distanced nikkah ceremony. Mukhtar took to Instagram and shared a few pictures from the event, followed by a heartfelt caption for the occasion. The couple, clad in colour-coordinated outfits, looked nothing less than ecstatic.

"Thank you for making me the luckiest man on earth. I haven’t felt such happiness in a very long time," wrote the Bench director. He went on to add, "You’ve stood by me in the moments I was down and amplified the happy moments. You have been my rock and my support. I am blessed."
