Farhan Saeed pens a note to fans for making his ‘ordinary’ character Hamza ‘special’ one

Actor also thanked the entire ‘Mere Humsafar’ team along with co-star Hania Aamir and director Qasim Mureed

The Qasim Mureed directorial Mere Humsafar has become the talk of the town with people including veteran actor Nadia Jamil waiting every week – like clockwork – to watch Farhan Saeed and Hania Aamir take Hamza and Hala’s tale forward.

Overwhelmed but grateful for all the love given to his character Hamza, Saeed took to Instagram with a gratitude note for fans for making the “ordinary” role “special” with their love.

“Hamza Raees Ahmed, a character I never thought would get so much praise from around the globe, I just did what felt right. This was as ordinary as it gets till you guys made it special. All the love and success it has is because of the love you guys gave it,” he wrote for fans who, with their views, likes and thoughts on the show, made every episode trend in “various countries.”

Apart from fans, Saeed also thanked Aamir for “being an amazing co-star” whose energy he called “contagious” and acting “mind blowing.” Not forgetting director Mureed, he added, “The captain! Who can touch anything and make it gold. My friend, my favourite director and my partner-in-crime, thank you for being the best at what you do. You inspire me to be passionate about what we do, I am just glad that we saw each other’s potential when no one else did.”

The Sajni singer concluded the note from where it started – with his fans. Saying their love inspires him to do much more in the future, he wrote, “And with you guys behind me, I have no doubt we together will achieve greater things.”
