Youth allegedly commits suicide in Dijkot

DIJKOT:

A youth allegedly committed suicide in Dijkot. Police handed over his body to his heirs after completing formalities.

Qasim Ali, a resident of Chak No. 232 RB area of Saddar Police Station, told the police that his brother Fariyad and he used to sleep on the roof of their house.

Qasim Ali said that on the night of the incident he woke up to a loud bang and found his brother dead with a pistol in his hand and a bullet hole in his chest.

Police arrived at Qasim Ali’s house and seized the pistol as well as the mobile phone of the deceased.

While checking the record of the mobile phone, police found that the deceased had sent three voice messages to his friends at 1.00 a.m. asking them to forgive him.

Saddar SHO Inspector Ayub Sahi said these voice messages indicated that the youth had committed suicide.
