Of love and gunshots: Sami Khan, Alizeh Shah and Shehzad Shaikh to star in 'Muhabbat Ke Akhri Khani'

With one hero, one heroin and a villain, the tale is set in the valley of Kashmir

If you’re looking for a light-hearted drama serial to cool-off with in the evenings, there’s a classic story of a possible love-triangle coming to screens soon! Starring actors Shahzad Sheikh, Alizeh Shah, and Sami Khan in the lead roles, Muhabbat Ke Akhri Khani [Love’s final tale] will air on Express Entertainment TV. 

Khan took to his Instagram to tell his fans and followers of his upcoming serial with a promo on Thursday. “Every love story has a heroine, hero and a villain but in the gorgeous valleys and vales of Kashmir takes place a drama serial starring Alizeh Shah, Shahzad Sheikh and Sami Khan, coming soon, only on Express TV,” read the caption of the post.

While we don't know the release date as of yet, the less-than-a-minute teaser gave us enough details to stay hooked. The clip began with a bird-eye view of the beautiful Kashmir and panned to a bridge as the narrator introduced the story. “There is Kashmir, and there is another love story.”

Introducing the only “heroine,” the camera zooms in to Shah in a bridal costume running towards Sheikh at one end of the bridge when the voiceover pronounces him as the “one hero” of the series. Sheikh smiles and holds up his arms ready to hug Shah but in an instant his expression changes. Ofcourse, this serial won’t be an easy tale of happy endings without an evil eye guarding the couple from all the good in life. Where’s the drama in that?

Shah and Sheikh’s almost embrace is then interrupted with gunshots and terror as a fearful Shah drops to the ground and Khan is seen standing behind her holding a gun. “And there will be one villain,” denounces the narrator.

Apart from the promo shared by the actor, the channel Express Entertainment TV also shared a lyrical video of the drama’s OST, sung by Asrar Shah and Hadiqa Kiani, on Tuesday.
