Police arrested eight gamblers during a raid at a gambling den on Monday.
A total of Rs112,000 cards, a thick iron box, and 55 grams of heroin were found in their possession.
Police on a tip-off raided a den in Khoulian Bala near the railway station plot. DS Circle Headquarter Fida Muhammad and SHO Police Sarai Saleh Siddiq Shah along with other police officers took instant action and arrested them right on the spot.
The arrested gamblers include Wali Muhammad, resident of Kholiyan Bala, Muhammad Sadiq, resident of Kholiyan Bala, Muhammad Nawaz, resident of Abbottabad, Khushal Khan, resident of Charsada, Zulfiqar, resident of Sherwan, Shaukat, resident of Abbottabad, Naseer Khan, resident of Kholiyan Bala, and Shabbir Khan, resident of Kholiyan Bala. Separate cases have been registered against them.
