Weather turns pleasant after intermittent rain

ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI:

Intermittent rain for three days turned the weather pleasant in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The rain came as a respite for inhabitants of the twin cities and provided them with an opportunity to visit picnic spots and other recreational places as the weather turned pleasant.

During the last couple of weeks, the weather had turned mildly warm during the day but took another cool turn following the rain.

As a result of the rain, the mercury dropped several degrees, while clouds continued to hover over Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Sunday, giving citizens much-needed respite from the scorching sun.

The weather in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been cloudy for the last three days with intermittent rain. It rained in the twin cities on Sunday morning as well which turned the weather pleasant.

A large number of people made a beeline for tourist spots and hill stations including Murree and Galiyat to enjoy the pleasant weather.
