PM Shehbaz wishes President Biden prompt recovery from Covid

US president earlier said he was 'doing great' and 'keeping busy' after catching the contagious virus

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday wished US President Joe Biden a prompt recovery from Covid-19.

“I wish President Biden a speedy and complete recovery from corona,” the premier said in a Twitter post.

Earlier, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told media that President Biden was experiencing “very mild symptoms” and that he would continue to carry out his professional duties in isolation.

In a separate tweet, Biden said he was “doing great” and “keeping busy”.

The White House had announced on Thursday about President Biden testing positive for Covid.

It had maintained that he had been fully vaccinated and received the booster shot twice.
