ISLAMABAD:

Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Dr Aisha Ghaus Pasha on Thursday expressed the government’s resolve to increase foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country through keen focus on ease of doing business and facilitation of the business community. Pasha said this in a meeting with Total Parco Pakistan Limited CEO Mehmat Celepoglu, according to a statement issued by the Finance Division. “This will help in attaining sustainable growth,” the state minister was quoted as saying. She assured Celepoglu of resolving issues of the business community on a priority basis and directed the relevant authorities to undertake the required measures. Total Parco CEO discussed economic situation of the country and apprised the minister of the issues pertaining to taxes.
