Actors Aymen Saleem and Arslan Naseer made some waves with their 2021 Ramazan special, Chupke Chupke. The actors' sizzling onscreen chemistry had many speculate whether the onscreen duo is dating in real life. Saleem and Naseer were often spotted at gatherings as well.
However, after months of speculations, Saleem has clarified rumours about the pair dating. The Ibn-e-Hawwa actor, while responding to a fan on Instagram, shared, "So, Arslan and I have always just been co-stars/friends. In fact, I'd like to ask fan pages to not treat us as a couple. It can get very awkward and uncomfortable. I hope you guys can respect/understand that."
The actor, previously, spoke about the success of her TV debut caught her off-guard. During an appearance at Time Out With Ahsan Khan, Saleem shared, “Chupke Chupke was such a huge hit, and we were given so much love and support by our fans and wellwishers, but if I’m being completely honest, I was a little overwhelmed. It was just so much, and I was very grateful for it, and I was really humbled, but I wasn’t sure if I was ready for this. So I wanted to make sure I take a step back, reevaluate what I want to do and that if I come back then I should come back to stay.”
Reflecting on the demands of celebrity life, Saleem said, “You need to always be in your character when you’re in the public eye. Glam life was not for me. So I needed to make sure I’m ready for it.”
