Attempted robbery: Theft bid foiled; women arrested

Woman, with the help of other passengers, foil attempt and recover bangles worth Rs70,000.

ISLAMABAD: Two women were arrested by another woman near the Tarlai area on the outskirts of Shehzad Town on Saturday.

The police said that the two suspects deprived a woman of her gold bangles on a bus. However, the woman, with the help of other passengers, foiled their attempt and recovered the bangles, worth Rs70,000.

They were handed over to the Shehzad Town police for investigations. The police said the suspects confessed to have committed many such crimes during investigations.
