KARACHI:

Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) has issued an emergency advisory on the forecast of torrential rains in Sindh.

SHCC in a letter to the administrators of private sector hospitals in Sindh asked them to complete rain emergency arrangements.

The letter said that 24- hour emergency service should be provided in Karachi, especially in all private hospitals. In addition, doctors and medical staff attendance should be ensured in all private hospitals.

All private hospitals should have an ambulance service equipped with medical facilities.

The letter said that private hospitals should send their data to the DG Health Office by 4 pm daily and ensure stock of medicine.
