One of Pakistan’s most revered actors, Mahira Khan has a knack for charming fans with not only compelling performances but also captivating taste. From the red carpets to shoots to dramas like Humsafar, Sadqay Tumhare, and films like Superstar, the celebrity has played with colours and sillhouttes, making whatever she wears look better than it actually is.
The performer is now back with another film, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, directed by Nabeel Qureshi. And she’s making sure she lures crowds into theatres by glamming up in the most exquisite attires for its promotions. From eastern dresses to desi couture, Mahira did not let us down! And here’s presenting four outfits she donned that almost took our breath away.
Eastern Ivory
Mahira knew precisely what she was doing when she opted to wear this Iqbal Hussain number to a television show meant to discuss her upcoming film. She exuded elegance in the all-white kameez, exquisitely laced with intricate embroidery across its hem, paired with the 70s inspired wide shalwar. She kept her makeup minimal and she accessorised with dangling silver earrings. Another reason why this dress became so well-known is because fans had a collective melt-down after discovering its cost.
Chic white
Mahira knows her way around white! So to one of the promotions, she wore this white basic collared shirt that had been cinched at the waist using a wide black belt. She paired the shirt with a pair of Commando faux leather leggings, appearing chic and powerful. Mahira completed the look with Chanel earrings and strutted the promotions in a couple of crystal-embellished Mach & Mach stilettos.
Vivid florals
Styled by Babar Zaheer, Mahira turned heads when she sported this creamy and airy design crafted by Faiza Saqlain. The shirt had been embroidered with vividly multicoloured florals to add definition to the attire, including a flowy and windingly trimmed trouser. She carried an organza dupatta with a light lace adornment and kept her hair casually open. She added the same fabric’s pouch as an accessory.
Dainty experience
Staying true to Quaid-e-Azam's legacy, Mahira kept white her signature colour throughout the promotions. And her recent appearance at a promotional event at Port Grande is testament to the same. Adorning a delicately sequened kameez by Iqbal Hussain, paired with culottes flaunting a crinkled texture, Mahire looked dazzling to say the least. Once again, Babar Zaheer did an impeccable job with her makeup by keeping it dewy and adding modest hoops. She flaunted a pair of black stilettos to amp her look to a dynamic one.
