Hollywood actor Lindsay Lohan is a married woman! The popular American star has announced she has tied the knot to boyfriend Bader Shammas after three years of dating and a few months of engagement. The couple announced the engagement in November last year.
Taking to Instagram, Lohan shared a picture with Shammas, sporting her engagement and wedding ring and penned, "I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband."
She added, "My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this every day."
The Mean Girls star made her relationship public as she was snapped with her beau when she and her sister Aliana Lohan hung out backstage with members of Bastille at RedFestDXB in Dubai last February, and she has now announced they have taken their relationship to the next level.
Alongside a series of snaps with her new fiance showing off her engagement ring, the former child star wrote on Instagram this weekend, "My love. My life. My family. My future, Badar Shammes." Bader shared his own joy, tweeting: “I see love when I see your eyes. You’re my everything, together forever!”
Lohan's fiance is an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse in the United Arab Emirates, according to his LinkedIn profile. People reported that he previously studied in Florida at the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida. The Parent Trap actor has lived in Dubai for the past several years. It’s unclear when she met Bader. The actor was previously engaged to Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov, but the couple called it quits in 2016.
Few months back, an insider had predicted to People that marriage was on the cards for the couple. The source previously said of the loved-up couple, "Lindsay’s relationship with Bader is going strong. She has been with him for about two years now."
