Chinese firm to launch bus service in Karachi

The new bus service will consist of a fleet of 500 buses

KARACHI:

A Chinese company will launch a new bus service in Karachi. A delegation of the Chinese company called on Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon at his office on Friday.

The Chinese delegation included Chie Chung of Shandong High Speed Pakistan, Zoheb Siddiqui and Chun Yusan of Kinglong Company.

It was decided in the meeting that the Chinese company would launch a new bus service in Karachi on the lines of People's Bus Service.

The new bus service will consist of a fleet of 500 buses. Memon gave the Chinese company four months to procure buses and bring them to Karachi.
