PTI chairman says military spokesperson alone cannot determine there was no conspiracy

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Sunday the current rulers became part of the regime-change conspiracy, the National Security Council (NSC) under the present government had accepted the his stance.

Addressing social media influencers, he said that whether it was a conspiracy or interference, in any case, the matter must be investigated. He added that the military spokesman alone could not determine that there was no conspiracy.

Imran said that those involved in this conspiracy wanted to suppress it. A false narrative of inflation was built for the no-confidence motion, adding that now, this government had created unprecedented price hike in the country.

“If you cannot run the government why you conspired,” Imran asked. People, at present, are angry because of the inflation. The inflation has increased by 30%. The real problem for Pakistan is the lack of dollars,” he added.

The PTI chief said that the looters of the national wealth had been imposed on the country, adding that amendments to the accountability laws would give each of them the NRO, a reference to the Musharraf-era political amnesty under the National Reconciliation Ordinance.

The former prime minister told the social media influencers that they must get ready as he could give the call for next march before July 10. He added that the no one could snatch the people’s right to protest and the right to movement.

He criticised the government crackdown on the PTI supporters during the long march on May 25. “There is no precedence, the way police cracked down on marchers on May 25. The shelling of tear gas gave the look of occupied Kashmir.
