KARACHI:

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)  leaders while reacting to  Imran Khan's statement that  Pakistan could split into three parts, said that not the country but Imran Khan's politics will be torn to pieces.

Imran Khan Niazi attacked national integrity for his personal goals, speakers said at the Pakistan Khappey (We want Pakistan) rally staged to denounce the PTI chief's controversial statement.

The phrase Pakistan  Khappay was made famous by Asif Ali Zardari when he said it in reply to chants of  Pakistan Na Khappay (We don't want Pakistan) at the burial of Benazir Bhutto following her assassination in  December 2006.

Peoples Youth Organization and PPP Women Wing  Karachi Division organised the joint rally from Peoples  Secretariat to Empress Market on Sunday.

PPP has always spoken of democracy and the country.

MNA Dr Shahida Rahmani said that Imran Niazi should apologise for his statement regarding the likelihood that the country might dismember.

Benazir Bhutto came to Pakistan despite threats and dangers for the sake of the country, nation  and democracy.
