Martyrdom Day: CCPO satisfied with security

CCPO on Saturday expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements for the Youm-i-Shahdat of Hazrat Ali.

Capital City Police Officer on Saturday expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements for the Youm-i-Shahdat of Hazrat Ali.

In a statement issued on Saturday, CCPO Ahmad Raza Tahir said police officials would be present on all the route of the procession and all roads leading to various majalis in the city. He called upon the citizens to cooperate with the police during religious observances. He appealed to the organisers to make arrangements for video recording. The CCPO said to avoid congestion the organisers should ensure that at the end of the day the participants dispersed in an orderly manner.
