Police arrest four drug dealers

Recover nine kilograms of charas, two kilograms of heroin and half-a-kilogram of opium

Police claimed to have arrested four alleged drug dealers and recovered nine kilograms of charas, two kilograms of heroin and half-a-kilogram of opium.

Police said that among the suspects, a drug dealer had been allegedly supplying drugs to college students.

According to the police report, the SHO of Madina Town Police Station, Rana Maghfoor Ahmed, was informed that a resident of 30 GB Narwala Road, Raza, had arrived at the gate of a university in Madina Town on a motorcycle with a large consignment of drugs.

The SHO, along with ASI Muhammad Asif, conducted a successful raid and arrested the accused along with four-and-a-half kilograms of charas, two kilograms of heroin and half-a-kilogram of opium.

The accused was sent behind bars.

According to police, the accused used to supply drugs to boys and girls of different universities and colleges.

The SHO of Saddar Police Station, Iram Raza Shah, raided 228 RB and 215 RB and arrested two alleged drug dealers, Ghulam Mustafa and Aftab Javed, and seized 3.75 kilograms of charas and registered cases them.

ASI Maqsood Ahmed raided Juranwala Road and arrested an alleged drug dealer, Ismail, with 1.25 kilograms of charas and locked him up in jail.
