Ali was briefing the judicial commission probing the May 2 US raid in Abbottabad. The commission meeting was chaired by Justice (r) Javed Iqbal at the Cabinet Division in Islamabad.
Ali told that the defence policy of the country was revised after the detailed discussion at joint staff headquarters.
Commission will now meet after the Eid vacations.
Members of the commission are likely to visit the said compound in Abbottabad to collect the evidences and information from the local population regarding the presence of the al Qaeda chief in the area.
As reported earlier, the judicial commission had directed the interior ministry and the intelligence agencies to withhold the repatriation of Bin Laden’s family and that it should not be done without the commission’s consent.
The formation of this commission was proposed in a unanimous resolution passed by the joint session of parliament on May 13 earlier this year.

Naeem Siddiqui: Dont u worry about sparing my suggestion to India's problems. That is being done and will be done. These problems are nothing compared to what u have. By the way, have u heard about Anna Hazare and his movement?. And thanks for your "suggestion" too.
@vasan
Thanks for your ‘suggestion’; we know what to concentrate and what not to!
Spare some of your ‘suggestions’ for the poor masses of India who are still deprived of india's economic growth and wealth is confined to some corporate families and corrupt politicians.
As a first step, stop hiding people like OBL in Pakistan !
Then, automatically, Abbottabad-type incidents will stop. Isn't that obvious?
Ameer: "The situation is more complicated than you can ever think. If ilt was so easy to prevent terrorists from seeking a hideout, then why haven’t USA accomplish that?" You are right my friend, But my remarks are more critical for Pakistan's taking measure on Abbotabad raid whereas they should concentrate more on finding out when and how OBL came to Abbotabad and more about PMS mehran attacks. You will solve some amount of problems only then
@vasan
Who do you think you are to judge on my country. The situation is more complicated than you can ever think. If ilt was so easy to prevent terrorists from seeking a hideout, then why haven't USA accomplish that? Easy for you to talk when your country is not the one undergoing this war.
The most certain way to keep the US from doing it is to not house their targets you claim are mutual. That type of situation, having deceptive properties, will put just about any country into a unilateral and untrusting mindset concerning the topic. Especially after 10 years of being jerked around. Even if you're truly in the dark about the situation it still only changes to you saying you're oblivious and incapable of dealing with it so the obvious conclusion is "then we will after we change your diaper." If you want to make certain other countries can't do it, that's easy too. Have the lower ranks actually do their job. Two faced military officers are a result of neglect from their commanding officers. Following orders and someone making sure they do doesn't give them a whole lot of freedom to intentionally screw with security or leave convenient openings. It would be too risky in many instances if someone was actually looking.
An investigation really isn't needed in that regard. The reason the officials didn't come to the correct conclusions immediately after the incidents took place is something worthy of investigation.
Typical of pakistan. They dont take measures to avoid terrorists seeking a hideout in Pakistan, They dont take measures to stop the preaching of these "hidden" terrrorists in Pakistan. They want to take measures to avoid incidents like Abbotabad raid. Will this country ever improve.
do not defend if America attacks... we gonna lose a lot of aid. Sovereignty is already lost in drone war
Please do not turn your radars really off this time.
How's that investigation coming --- ever figure out how OBL lived comfortably for 5+ years in the shadow of your Military Academy? Last I heard the ISI decided that it was inconvenient to testify before the Commission and headed off to China - not a peep since them.
