Kya aap ne bhi #NoticeKiya?
The love of cricket in Pakistan goes as far back as the country itself, and over the years it has only grown stronger. The millennials still cherish the times when legendary cricketers like Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram picked up their willows to steer the match towards a victorious end.
From boom boom Afridi to Rawalpindi Express, and now Babar Azam, among many others, Pakistan has had the privilege of being represented by cricketers that have made us proud over and over again.
Regardless of the challenges that surround us as a nation, one thing that has remained constant ever since is the love Pakistanis have for cricket and Pepsi. Our legends have enjoyed being associated with the fizzy beverage brand for decades, making it a national favourite of all those who enjoy sipping the chilled drink with their friends and family as they cheer for their most-loved players throughout the cricket seasons.
Recently, social media went into a frenzy when everyone buzzed about how Pepsi has become frizzier and stronger than ever before. So, what’s all the fizz, oh we mean buzz, all about?
Pepsi Pakistan has once again collaborated with one of Pakistan’s most celebrated cricketers, Babar Azam to reflect the legend’s hidden, fun side while keeping up with the longstanding tradition of incorporating top icons in their campaigns.
Adding a unique twist to their laudable campaign, Pepsi enlisted Young Stunners in their newest TVC.
From cricketers to celebs, everyone has been raving about Pepsi, also known as zinda diloun ki drink for a reason.
Superstars including, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Wasim Akram, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, and many others have reminisced about the time when they were in the field with their boys. They expressed their nostalgia with tweets and posts regarding how Pepsi is still keeping the long-standing tradition of cricket-Pepsi association alive.

Apart from the cricketers', fans as well are expressing their gratitude for Pepsi’s unwavering support for the Pakistani cricket team. While the TVC keeps things fresh with punny narratives, it also takes one back to the good old times when Pepsi roped in legendary cricket players to celebrate the love Pakistanis have in their hearts for the game.
Well, all we can say is, whether in action on the field or in front of the camera, Babar Azam, and many former crickets have shown the world their shine via smashing performances.
It's heart-warming to see Pepsi still bleeding green, even after all of these years! Many cricket aficionados have begun resharing older Pepsi ads to revisit the joys they brought them years ago. And like every other Pakistani who grew up in the era where Pepsi featured heartthrob cricket stars, we can't help but recall the good old days too.
