Former president Asif Ali Zardari called on PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at his residence on Thursday to discuss the prevailing economic and political situation in the country.
According to Express News, the PPP co-chairman had a meeting with Chaudhry Shujaat. Zardari thanked him for his full support to the national government.
Terming PML-Q a pivotal ally of the government, the former president maintained that that the party will be taken on board for consultations for all key affairs and decisions.
The PPP co chairman took Chaudhry Shujaat into confidence on the current situation in the country.
Board of Investment and Special Initiatives Minister Chaudhry Salek Hussain, National Food Security and Research Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Shafi Hussain, PML-Q MNA Farrukh Khan and former PPP MNA Rukhsana Bangash were also present on the occasion.
