Majoka currently hearing murder case of US-Pakistani woman Wajih Swati, other cases

Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka, who is hearing high-profile murder and robbery cases including the murder case of American woman Wajiha Swati, has demanded foolproof security and has sent a formal letter to the City Police Officer (CPO).

The judge in his letter that he was hearing the murder case of American woman Wajih Swati along with other serious cases.

“In the said case, diplomats of the US embassy in Islamabad and the FBI team were also appearing in the court at every hearing and the court is present till the full hearing. All the cases pending in the court are of serious nature. The accused are produced before the court from Adiala jail and Attock jail. Therefore, the security of the court is necessary to deal with any situation”.

Meanwhile, sources said that the CPO has approved foolproof security for the senior judge and police commandos and elite force will be provided in the next 48 hours for his security.

The sources said that the security process for the senior judge will be completed in the next one day.

Meanwhile, the internal security of the courtroom has also been made foolproof.

Closed-circuit cameras have been installed inside the courtroom and at the entrance for monitoring.
