While issuing notices to the authorities concerned, the court sought a reply by May 19.

In the petition, Dua Zahra's father has stated that his daughter had been kidnapped and married against her will. He has pleaded that his daughter should be brought to the court to find out the truth, and his daughter's statement should be recorded in the court. Police officials should be instructed to bring her to the court.
