Google's latest Nest Camera can stream on to Amazon Alexa smart display, Echo Show devices, Fire TVs, and Fire tablets. In the announcement, Amazon stated that third-party cameras will be able to access its new person and package announcement on Echo Smart speakers.

The Google Nest Alexa skill has added the ability to view a live feed, whilst getting motion announcements on Echo speakers from the Google Nest Cam (outdoor/indoor, battery), Google Nest Cam (wired, indoor) and Nest Cam with floodlight.

Additionally, according to The Verge, Amazon has added doorbell press notifications and a two-way conversation with Google’s support for the Nest Doorbell (battery).

Live views from older Nest Cams, Nest Cam IQs (indoor/outdoor), and the Nest Doorbell (wired), formerly called Nest Hello, will still be supported in the new Nest cameras. Alexa's person detection announcement feature will be coming to the new cameras soon but package detection announcements have yet to be announced for support.

Owners will be able to stream all the Nest cameras to an Echo show and view a live feed of the newer models on a Fire TV or Fire tablet. Echo speakers and smart displays will also receive motion announcements, while owners can view and talk to visitors at the Nest Doorbell (battery) through an Echo Show.

Doorbell press notifications can let you use Echo Show like an intercom for a doorbell, while Alexa voice commands can help owners request the AI assistant to answer doorbells. The new skill also includes Google Nest's previous skill which let Nest Thermostat control thermostats and older nest cameras.
