ISLAMABAD:

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has assured Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of “fullest cooperation” for the betterment of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz called MQM-P Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Thursday and wished him and other party workers on account of Eidul Fitr.

The premier told his ally that they have to work together to get the country out of difficulties it is currently facing.

Siddiqui said that Allah Almighty has brought prosperity in the life of ordinary Pakistanis with the joys of Eid. He hoped that by next Eid, the missing workers of his party would be recovered so that they too can celebrate the festive occasion with their families.

He also assured the prime minister of his “fullest cooperation” for the betterment of Pakistan and its citizens.
