Overcharging: 3 milkmen arrested for profiteering

The raiding officers fined the milk men Rs15,000 each and sent them to jail for 2 days.

FAISALABAD: Three milkmen have been arrested on profiteering charges on Thursday. According to police officials, special price control magistrate Riaz Husain Anjum conducted several raids in Batala Colony Sammundri Road. The raiding teams found milk sellers Riyasat Ali, Arsalan and Muhammad Ameen charging exorbitant rates of milk and curd against fixed prices. The raiding officers fined the milk men Rs15,000 each and sent them to jail for 2 days.
