Meanwhile, relatives of those buried at Darwish Cemetery have been facing difficulties because of the malfunction of a pump installed in the area.
People of the area and surrounding neighbourhoods of Mohalla Qadeem, Central Jail and other adjoining settlements have urged officials to get involved and solved the water problem.
The pump, which was installed with the assistance of the Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has broken down and the people who come to the graveyard for funerals or visits face difficulties in acquiring water.
Visitors need water to be able to safely pave the graves and for now, they need to fetch water from other areas.
