Sindh Madressatul Islam: 2-year extensions for staff

Sindh government extended them in the interest that was the alma mater of the country’s founder.

KARACHI: The Sindh government extended by two years the contracts for 35 employees of Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI) on Thursday. At a meeting of faculty and staff on Friday, principal Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh said that it was difficult to accomplish after the devolution of the federal education ministry. However, the Sindh government extended them in the interest of this historic institution that was the alma mater of the country’s founder, Mohammad Ali Jinnah. The financial matters of the SMI employees have now been handed over to the AG Sindh.
